Privacy policy
The short version. Pin & Print collects no data. It has no account, no server, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Your boards, photos and words stay on your iPhone. Its App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected”.
Who we are
Pin & Print is made by an independent developer established in Italy, who sells it on the App Store and is the data controller for the little described below. In the European Union, the app’s App Store page shows the trader details. Contact: hello@pinandprint.app. No data protection officer is appointed.
On your iPhone
- Your boards, the photos you add to them, your words and your settings are stored in the app’s own storage on your iPhone. None of it is sent to us: Pin & Print has no server to send it to.
- Photos. Pin & Print uses the iOS photo picker, so it receives only the photos you choose and never reads the rest of your library. Files and Paste work the same way: the app gets only the file you pick or what you paste.
- Saving to Photos. When you save a wallpaper, iOS asks whether Pin & Print may add images to your library. That permission lets it add images, not read them.
- Camera and microphone. Pin & Print never uses them.
- Work done on your iPhone. Cutting the subject out of a photo (with Apple’s Vision framework), picking colours from your photos, Arrange for me and Make it cohesive all run on the device.
- Widgets and Shortcuts. The app writes the images its widgets show, and the picture the Get Board Image action returns, to storage on your iPhone that only Pin & Print and its widgets can read.
- Board files go only where you save or send them.
- Backups. If you use iCloud Backup or back up to a computer, your boards are included. That is Apple’s service, under Apple’s privacy policy.
Purchases
The unlock is sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes the payment, and we never see your name, Apple Account or payment details. The app asks the App Store on your iPhone whether the unlock is owned, including through Family Sharing. Apple’s privacy policy applies to purchases.
Ratings and crash reports
The rating prompt is Apple’s own: ratings and reviews go to Apple and are published under Apple’s terms. If you chose in iOS Settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may give us crash reports and overall usage figures through App Store Connect; these don’t identify you. You can turn this off in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.
When you write to us
If you email hello@pinandprint.app, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. We use them only to answer you, keep them no longer than needed for that, and delete them when you ask. Mail to this address is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to the developer’s Gmail inbox at Google. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
This website
pinandprint.app sets no cookies and has no analytics, trackers, ads, or third-party scripts or fonts. It is hosted by Vercel, which, like any web host, processes your IP address and the page requested in order to deliver the page, and keeps them briefly in its logs for security. The domain’s DNS and email forwarding run on Cloudflare.
Children
Pin & Print collects no data from anyone, children included.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy of it. As we hold nothing about you except emails you send us, write to hello@pinandprint.app for any of these. You can also complain to a data protection authority; in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Changes
If this policy changes, the version and date above change with it. If the app’s data practices ever changed, this page and its App Store privacy label would say so first.
